New additions to the work list include Visits to a Fortune-teller, a set of pieces for tenor saxophone and piano written in 2007, Strength and Beauty, four pieces for unaccompanied cello, two pieces for flute, oboe and clarinet, and four rounds for three alto saxophones.

Jon will be the summer pianist again this year at the New York Society for Ethical Culture, playing before meetings every Sunday morning at 10:15 AM from July 12 through the end of August, 2009. On Sunday, August 23, cellist Karlos Rodriguez will perform "Hero" from Strength and Beauty at the Society at 10:15 AM.
